What We Do
Founded in 2022, the Afghan Association of Centra Virginia (AACVA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan organization.
It serves as the center for connecting Afghans to fellow community members and necessary resources for social integration and adjustment while preserving their cultural identities.
AACVA provides a warm and welcoming environment for all Afghans regardless of tribe, race, or creed, residing in Central Virginia. All Afghans, regardless of tribal, language, religious, regional, and ethnic affiliation, who uphold the values of unity and adhere to organizational objectives, are welcomed!
